NYCoRE is an all-volunteer organization. The quality and amount of our work depends solely on the powerful and creative potential of its members and allies.
There are a few different ways to participate with the organization, ranging from being on the listserv and attending events and actions from time to time (Being part of the BASE) to taking a more active role in developing educational and action projects (Being a Member), and taking a central role in the day to day decisions of the collective (Being a Core Member).
If you are new to the group the best way to check us out is by attending one of our monthly meetings, which are held on the third Friday of each month between September and June. These meetings include getting to know others who are involved in the struggle for justice, collective political education around a topic, and break out groups that facilitate more focused discussion and project work.
